World Architecture Travel (WAT), in collaboration with MassArt, UNESCO, and the British Council, announces the presentation of an immersive architectural journey centered around the
UNESCO-listed Durga Puja celebrations in Kolkata. This October, attendees can witness a PREVIEW SHOW, where 26 of the most innovative and exceptional Durga Puja art installations, out of the 3000 adorning the city’s streets from October 11th to October 15th, 2023, will be showcased.
“The celebration of Durga Puja in Kolkata transcends its religious significance to become a captivating public art gallery that stretches across the entire city. It represents a remarkable fusion of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary artistic expression, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil,” states Brijesh Shaijal, Founder of World Architecture Travel. “Our objective is to spotlight the artistic, architectural, and local economic aspects of this celebration”.
