Is it possible to use architecture to create safe energy? It is indeed feasible. Everybody uses energy in some capacity, across all industries, therefore any modest contribution to the environment is worthwhile. We can strive to say “NO ENERGY” on this particular day; even a tiny effort would help to raise awareness among us. Additionally, we ought to conduct brief sessions in all of the institutions of higher learning, as well as in every office and sector of the private and public, small or big using activities like art, drawing, social campaigns, tree-planting, discussions, conferences, debates, workshops to raise awareness of the significance of energy for our next generation.
The 14th of December is designated as National Energy Conservation Day each year. The Day strives to raise awareness among Indians as to the value of energy conservation. Additionally, the public is brought up to date on any new strategies or plans that are being developed. Information is provided on ways to reduce energy waste and how members of the public can contribute to resource conservation. The major goal of the day is to promote efficient energy use and reduce consumption.
India’s development industries are expanding, which raises the country’s need for energy. By 2030, it is anticipated that India’s resource needs will have doubled as India’s massive growing population. The BEE plans and creates strategies to assist in reducing this demand by promoting the adoption of energy-efficient practices. However, we took initiative before likewise in 1992, The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy was established with A New Hope. In 2015, UJALA was launched by the Prime Minister of India as a LED lamp distribution project with The Future is Here. In 2016, The 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 agenda were set by the United Nations For a Better Tomorrow and In 2020, A movement towards sustainable and eco-friendly clothing begins in the fashion industry across India with Save The Planet in Style. Not in India, but all over the world, most of the industry took initiative towards the energy conservation. Thus, every industry can make efforts into a green and sustainable environment by using less amount of energy.
Small steps can help to reduce the use of energy:
Responsibility for every Indian – National Energy Conservation Day promotes the value of energy conservation for all people, whether they are young or old.
India must play a major role – With a population of nearly 1.3 billion, India is a sizable nation. Because they contain such a major fraction of the world’s population, they are also largely accountable for climate change.
The cascading impact- While brushing your teeth, even simply turning off the tap is beneficial! Effective practices are promoted through conferences, talks, and workshops.
In India’s real estate ecosystem, architecture plays a crucial role. Up from US$ 200 billion in 2021, the Indian real estate market is predicted to grow to US$ 1 trillion by 2030 and account for 13% of GDP by 2025. In the future, architects will be more involved in the design and construction of homes, urban planning, smart cities, last-mile connectivity, airports, and other small and large projects. We all must get ready for the requirement that our future initiatives be energy-efficient, environmentally friendly, and sustainable. Instead, we can employ solar energy, rainwater collection, climate-responsive design, and other conservation methods to reduce heating, cooling, and lighting loads.
